Quickly allocating some sub tasks to my team is more effective long term than permanently assigning the responsibility over these tasks and empower my team to deliver on the outcomes by managing their own resources and time. 

People always perform better if the deliver something they have ownership off rather than contributing to something someone else has ownership of. 

It is unlikely that others are doing a task 100% the way I would do it but this might not necessarily be a wrong way of doing it.
